Skyline Exhibits Receives Outstanding Innovator Award Nomination

Leading Trade Show Exhibit Producer Selected as Finalist for Prestigious Award

ST. PAUL (August 9, 2010) -- The Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) announced today that Skyline Exhibits was selected as a finalist for their prestigious Outstanding Corporate Innovator (OCI) Award.

For the past 21 years, the OCI Award selection process has provided an excellent mechanism for identifying companies that create and capture value through innovation in new product development. Past OCI Award winners have proven themselves exceptionally capable of integrating strategy, people, process, and technology to consistently transfer their creative ideas into successful new products.

While Skyline did not emerge as this year's winner, the OCI selection committee - a group of esteemed experts in the field of innovation and new product development - were impressed.

"Skyline has an excellent product development system, certainly worthy of recognition. Finalist status is testimony to that. Skyline can be justifiably proud of their system. It's very impressive," said committee member Bill Riggs.

PDMA's OCI Award is different from other new product development awards by virtue of the rigor of the qualification and selection process. Basic requirements for receiving the award are: (1) Sustained success in launching new products over a five-year time frame, (2) Significant company growth from new product success, (3) Well defined new product development practices and processes that can be described to others, and (4) Distinctive innovative characteristics and intangibles.

Past OCI Award recipients include Apple, Bank of America, Bausch & Lomb, BMW, Corning, DuPont, Eastman Kodak, FedEx, Harley Davidson and Herman Miller among others.
