When Do You Need A New Vancouver Trade Show Display?

Perhaps it’s nervousness, perhaps it’s excitement. Regardless, the energy level goes up a notch when it’s time to buy a new Vancouver trade show display

But how do you know it’s time to retire your old booth and buy a new one? Here are 3 questions to guide you:

1. Is your Vancouver trade show display looking worn out?

How does your booth really look? Is it dinged, dented, or damaged?  Can it no longer stand up to the rigors of trade show travel?  Some exhibitors cling to a worn out booth because they put so much money into it.  Instead, consider this: That booth doesn’t owe you nothing – it’s done its job! Your old display represented your company at many shows over several years, and has already paid for itself in greater awareness, stronger relationships, and piles of sales leads. But you don’t have to just walk away from it.  You can trade it in as a down payment on a new booth, and get some value from it still.

2. Has your company changed since you bought your booth?

Do your exhibit graphics still represent the best story you want attendees to see?  Does your booth lack space for integrating that video you’re itching to add to your display? Have you recently rebranded, or plan to rebrand soon? Has your sales staff grown so much that you now have 15 guys crammed into a 10 x 20 booth? Do you have enough space to have comfortable conversations? Does the shape of your exhibit fit with how you want to interact with show attendees? Change is good – as long as your booth can keep up.

3. How are your competitors presenting themselves?

Have your competitors been steadily upgrading their exhibits over the past few years?  With bigger booth spaces, taller exhibits, bolder graphics, and more integrated technology? Maybe your booth set the standard for your industry at its first show, but no longer. Remain relevant to show attendees with a booth that proclaims your player status.
