Which Backlit Booth Is Best for 10-Foot Vancouver Trade Show Displays?

May 24, 2019

Which Backlit Booth Is Best for 10-Foot Vancouver Trade Show Displays?

Backlighting has exploded in use on the trade show floor over the past decade, as the cost of LED lights plummeted, and the quality of backlit graphics has increased.

And that’s great, because backlit graphic images have far greater stopping power, attracting more attendees to your booth for better trade show results.  Displays with backlit fabric graphics are definitely worth the investment!

Skyline offers two trade show exhibit systems that are made explicitly for backlighting: PictureCube®, which has been a popular choice for years, and now PictureGlow.

Both can be excellent exhibit systems for 10 foot backlit displays, but only one is the best choice for you.

So, how do you decide? It depends on your answers to these 4 questions:

  1. Will you use this exhibit just for backwalls, or as part of your island exhibit?
  2. How much floor space do you want to limit the display to?
  3. Do you want AV or product merchandising in the same backlit components?
  4. What is your budget for your 10 foot display?

Why Choose PictureCube for Backlit 10 foot trade show booths?

PictureCube is an extremely versatile exhibit system, creating backlit towers, tables, hanging signs, and yes, backwall displays. If you want to use a library of exhibit components in booths of all sizes, PictureCube is your best choice.

PictureCube has a larger footprint, which adds dimensionality for backwalls, stability for towers and tables, and impressive visual mass (with light weight) for hanging signs.

However, PictureCube does not have capability for attaching accessories or technology, so it is often paired with Skyline PictureScape in those cases.

Here are three PictureCube backlit 10 foot (and 20 foot) displays:

For reference, here is an award-winning larger exhibit where PictureCube elements are not backwalls, but are backlit towers and various-sized hanging signs:

Why Choose PictureGlow for Backlit 10 foot trade show booths?

If you want to use a backlit display only in 10 or 20 foot displays, not reconfigured into larger exhibits, and you have a smaller budget, then the new PictureGlow is the best choice for you.

PictureGlow is only 4 inches deep, so it has a small footprint while still providing backlit graphics for inline spaces. It also allows for attaching shelving and flatscreen monitors.

Here are three examples of PictureGlow in 10 and 20 foot spaces:

Both PictureScape and PictureGlow exhibit systems provide bold backlit graphics that will attract attention and make you stand out on the show floor. There is no wrong choice, just a best choice, depending on your needs.
