Exhibit Design Consultant in Pittsburgh

SUMMARY

We are looking for a mature individual responsible for selling Skyline services and products, developing new and existing accounts, and growing the territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Market and sell Skyline products within given territory
  • Sell, promote and grow revenue in all product categories in a professional and ethical manner
  • Service customers
  • Work with Corporate Marketing Managers to promote and sell products
  • Identify and develop new customer base
  • Budget time and resources effectively

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -- Two or four year degree in a design field; and a minimum of three to five years successful business or design experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS -- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and the internet. Some knowledge of 3D software helpful.

DESIGN SKILLS -- Understanding of marketing concepts and graphic design. Ability to communicate with designers about client’s design needs and effectively present information about design to clients in small and large groups.

LANGUAGE SKILLS -- Ability to read, analyze, and write reports and business correspondence. Must effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS -- Regularly calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY -- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE -- Employee will present a professional, well-groomed appearance when calling on clients. Business casual attire is required daily in the office. Sometimes business formal attire is required during meetings or staffing exhibit at trade shows.

TRAVEL -- Daily use of a car is required, and candidate must be available for travel to trade shows and training seminars. Candidate can expect to average one or two nights of travel per month.
