Citrix Case Study

“Skyline makes my life easy. I’ve worked with other trade show companies and they’re not nearly as responsive.”

CLIENT SITUATION
Citrix is a leader in mobile workspaces, providing virtualization, mobility management, networking, and cloud services to enable new ways to work better.
In October of 2014, Citrix hosted its Mobility conference in Toronto Canada. Planning the show and handling logistics for international shipping can be a major time constraint for marketing managers. Not so for Fabiana Carpio, High Impact Marketing Manager for Citrix.
“Anything I need to do for a show, I just go directly to Skyline and they take care of it. They know exactly what the booth needs in terms of electricity, internet, and furniture. They work with me to make sure everything fits into my budget. Plus, they’re familiar with the way we do business, so it keeps everything running smoothly.”
Yet, exhibiting for Citrix is not without its challenges. Their booth must withstand a high volume of traffic, while housing loads of technology and gear. This creates a unique challenge for booth design. How can they get the clean, sleek look they desire and still have effective workspaces for demos and storage for equipment?
SKYLINE SOLUTION
“Eight total work stations, a presentation area, and large storage space for loads of equipment. No problem!” says Tammy Fernos, Creative Director for Skyline. Skyline designed two separate back-to-back work areas with flexibility to have anywhere between four and eight workstations, depending upon the needs of each particular show. The separate grouping allowed high volumes of traffic to flow easily into designated areas, leaving a much larger area open for presentations and storage.
“The goal is to have more and more people interacting with their technology. This design makes that goal a reality,” adds Jim Bustetter, Senior Exhibit Consultant.
ADDED VALUE
Customers expect a great product. It’s a given in today’s marketplace. What ends up making a difference is the level of service provided.
“I remember one show, we had a whiteboard in our booth and at the last minute I realized we forgot markers,” recalls Fabiana. Skyline went to Home Depot for us and got the markers. It’s a good feeling to know I don’t have to worry about anything.”
BOTTOM LINE
Fabiana says there are three main reasons why they continue to work with Skyline:
1. They know our process.
2. They’re fast.
3. They offer creative solutions.
“Other vendors don’t give me ideas. They don’t know our business the way Skyline does. I simply trust them more.”
